Short mission statement To nurture and build honest and able leaders |
Mission of the organization The primary mission is to reconcile and reunite local communities and to provide support for child soldiers and civil war victims turned youth, to rehabilitate and reintegrate them into society as useful and productive citizens. Part of the mission involves empowering children and young people by continuing to train them in entrepreneurship and information and communication technology tools and skills in order to learn and use these tools and kills necessary to advance themselves and live a quality life. |

Social impact Statement Since 2008, YONER Liberia has designed and implemented several initiatives through its two Flagship Programs - “Giving Back to our Community Action Initiative” and “Entrepreneurship Education Initiative.” Together, these projects have empowered over 50,000 youth and children affected by Liberia’s civil war, strengthened their capacities—improved their self-reliance and independence—prepared themselves for long-term job and career opportunities—guided them through career development. |
