To ensure that by 2030, all Africans have access to basic medicare and are sufficiently informed to keep themselves away from all preventable diseases and that the incidence of Hepatitis B&C in Africa is reduced to zero through public enlightenment, massive screening exercises, vaccination programmes and referral services. To ensure that no new HIV and Tuberculosis infections are recorded and that the African population is totally informed about cancer and its preventive measures. To ensure that maternal and infant mortality in Africa falls to at least half the global average. |

We have enlightened over 36,000 people about viral hepatitis, tuberculosis and cancer through massive online and offline media campaigns and have carried out viral hepatitis and breast cancer screening on more than 7,360 people in urban, sub-urban and rural communities. We have vaccinated about 5,600 against viral hepatitis and human papiloma virus and have trained more than 560 health workers on rapid diagnostic procedure for viral hepatitis. We have prevented over 80 cases of mother to child transmission of hepatitis and have seen a 6% increase in condom use especially by sexually active women and young girls. |
