As an organisation, we believe that poverty can be kicked out if people have the relevant knowledge, skills and opportunities that will create income for them, and that their income will be sustained if the society they live and work in is a well governed one that responds to the needs of its people. To have that sort of society, we must have good governance and leadership in play. We work with young women especially those that are from low income families and/or marginalized populations, implementing projects that ensure they have a secure and sustainable livelihood. We also carry out policy advocacy. We also work on governance, including developing active citizens and having more young people and women in governance and/or politics. |
