Mission of the organization
We work with out-of-school youth because 94% of youth in Uganda drop out before completing secondary education and youth in vocational training because nearly 50% are not using their vocational skills to earn money, partly because they are not adequately prepared to use them in the world of work. We equip youths with entrepreneurship, employability, and skills in civic engagement.

This enables youth to find and thrive in employment, and start and grow businesses. Our 10-year vision is to directly impact 100,000 youth in Uganda and 400,000 across East Africa. We will collaborate with partners that can replicate in their context.

Social impact Statement
Since 2014, we have been able to impact 10,000 young people with entrepreneurship and employability skills. These include youth that dropped out of school and vocational school graduates. We intentionally focus on recruiting 60% female youth in our program.

Analyzed results show that 41% of the youth who graduated from our program were able to get a job and 35% were able to start their own business. These results are based on analyzed results for the first 4 years of our program implementation.
