Mission of the organization Specifically, SOS Biodiversity aims: - Scientific research to contribute to the improvement of knowledge on biodiversity (forestry, agriculture, marine and coastal, mountain, internal waters ...); - restoration and conservation of biodiversity; - Food security through the conservation and enhancement of wild forest species and endogenous agricultural varieties; - The creation and sustainable management of Protected Areas; - Sensitization of the population on themes related to the protection of the environment, the sustainable management of natural resources, climate change and the conservation of biodiversity. |

Social impact Statement Over the past two years we have: - Planted in the city 260 trees of three different species with a success rate of more than 80% - Train and sensitize more than 200 young men and women from cities and rural areas on topics such as Google Skills Digital, Biodiversity conservation, beekeeping, paper bag, the danger of plastic bags - Publish more than 10,000 biodiversity data on the GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility) and Inaturalist portals |
