SINCE INCEPTION, WE HAVE CONDUCTED THE "WOMEN: YOU LEAD ATELIER" WITH CARITAS MAURITIUS THROUGH WHICH WE EQUIPPED OVER 1000 YOUNG FEMALES AGED 18 TO 40 YEARS OLD WITH LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND PROMOTED GENDER EMPOWERMENT AS A PATHWAY TO INTEGRATE WOMEN IN THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA AND IMPLEMENTED THE UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS 5 (GENDER EQUALITY) AND 10 (REDUCED INEQUALITIES). WE ARE IMPLEMENTING THE "CHANGE AFRICA 2020 PROJECT" WITH THE INNOVATION FOR EMPOWERMENT AND DEVELOPMENT (IFED) GHANA TO IMBIBE GOOD LEADERSHIP SKILLS INTO EVERY AFRICAN YOUTH BY REPRESENTING EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP QUALITIES EXHIBITED BY SEVEN ICONS NAMELY KOFI ANNAN, KWAME NKRUMAH, ELLEN JOHNSON SIRLEAF, PAUL KAGAME, ALIKO DANGOTE, JULIUS NYERERE AND NELSON MANDELA AND BY DISTRIBUTING OF 1 MILLION T-SHIRTS CUSTOMIZED WITH THEIR SIGNATURES ACROSS AFRICA. WE HAVE CONDUCTED THE "ANIMAL WELFARE CHARITY EVENT" TO IMPROVE ANIMAL WELL-BEING IN MAURITIUS BY DISTRIBUTING OLD NEWSPAPERS, FLEECES AND DUVETS, AND ANIMAL FOOD, AND BY DONATING MONEY WE RAISED THROUGH FUNDRAISING FOR THE PURPOSE OF SPONSORING STERILISATIONS, VACCINATIONS AND TREATMENT FOR 100 SICK AND INJURED ANIMALS. WE HAVE CONDUCTED THE "HUMANITARIAN SHELTER MATERIAL ASSISTANCE EVENT" TO ENSURE AN INCLUSIVE, EQUITABLE QUALITY EDUCATION FOR ALL IN MAURITIUS BY DISTRIBUTING NEW CLOTHES, BAGS AND SHOES TO 1000 NEEDY YOUTHS, MOSTLY GIRLS, WHO ARE IN THE AGE RANGE OF 6 TO 20 YEARS OLD.
