Mission of the organization The Groth Innovation Centre is a business incubator, enterprise resource and support center, and innovation hub in the city of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The primary mission is: “to facilitate and catalyze innovation, entrepreneurial development, and business success that fosters sustainable economic growth by providing business support, network and steer partnership for accelerated growth" with the Niger Delta region. |

Social impact Statement Since 2019, we've been able to support more than 150 businesses, empowered more than 1500 entrepreneurs with capacity development trainings and digital skills, and as well linked startups with a pool of talents while offering tech driven solutions to developing businesses within the Niger Delta region. Groth offers a range of programs, supports and initiatives for start-ups and entrepreneurs. Among them include "Groth Courier" - a weekly newsletter carrying aggregated opportunities for entrepreneurs from funding, resources and capacity building. Secondly, the "Groth Resource Partner Program" connects businesses to experts/mentors and professionals when they need them to execute projects. Our "Groth Internship" program is a capacity building program for young students, trained in online and social media marketing who are inturn outsourced to help businesses who cannot afford the services for free. Also our "Access Groth Program" leverages our interns from the University to educate business owners in the towns and local communities about basic business tips in business growth using technology, basic accounting and book-keeping and customer relationship. |
