Social impact Statement Student business club is the largest body of student entrepreneurs in Nigeria. The club which started as a small WhatsApp group in 2016 has since grown to a membership of over 3000 student entrepreneurs across several universities in Nigeria. We currently have 3,000 members that we have empowered with entrepreneurial knowledge and over 1000 have a business they are running currently. We have helped our members with $5,000 in grant directly and $50,000 indirectly. We are currently in 5 tertiary institutions and rapidly expanding. We believe that the right knowledge about entrepreneurship and growth of profitable entrepreneurial endeavour will set our economy on the growing scale. Therefore, we do all we do to empower young entrepreneurs with the basics of entrepreneurial development that will set them apart in industries. The future of work is changing rapidly. As a result, young entrepreneurs must arise and take advantage of the many opportunities available today. Besides graduating from the university with good grades and a certificate, every youth must also come out well equipped with business skills that will bring about a significant change in any company they find themselves. We currently have 3,000 members that we have empowered with entrepreneurial knowledge and over 1000 have a business they are running currently. We have helped our members with $5,000 in grant directly and $50,000 indirectly. Student Business Club aims at developing entrepreneurs who will become distinguished employees in companies and also create more jobs by launching new businesses that grow to success. |
